About

Did you grow up listening to a  bunch of boy band music? Or watched a ton of teen flicks that were pouring onto the big screen? Or were you only a kid watching Disney’s Aladdin? That Is So Phat is going to explore and revisit my favourite decade; the nineties. I grew up in my kid years in the nineties, with a teenage brother. As a kid your memory isn’t very sharp, but when I hear or see something from the nineties, things come back to me and I get nostalgic. The nineties may not seem that long ago, but it actually is. It’s been almost ten years. Almost. [UPDATE: It’s past ten years!] With my memory and my wonderful collection of nineties things, I want to go over everything before my memory gets hazy and rusty.

[Me rocking on a rocking chair in old age] Huh? What? Who’s Macaulay Culkin? Is he in that boy band that I like?

Sometimes I wish I was a teenager in the ninties. If I was, I would be a total teeny bopper. Then I thought about it and I would have probably not conformed and gone against everything that people liked back then.

So come along and join this 90s ride with me and listen to some great pop songs, bands, groups, rediscover books, the horrendous or lovely clothes, and movies.

Comments are appreciated!!

I now only update when I have something I really want to post. In the past I would search for something to post and then write it, but in the end I would be unhappy with the result. Please subscribe to this blog so you’ll be notified when it’s been updated! Thanks for sticking around.

  1. Hello, Hope you’re well.

Just wanted to let you know about a new rom-com book I have out with Penguin’s Destiny Romance, in which the heroine time-travels back to the summer of ’98. It’s out Feb 15. Thanks for your time!

BLURB IS: On the night of her 36th birthday, Flora Brunelli is full of regrets. The celebrations have turned sour and life hasn’t gone according to plan. She wishes she could be 20 again. Then she finds herself zapped back in time, landing in the summer of 1998 when she was 20 years old. The Spice Girls are at the top of the charts and The X-Files is the hit TV show. It’s also the week Flora’s life unravelled.
For Flora, this is a chance to change her future. http://www.destinyromance.com/products/9781743480748/second-chance

    Thanks kindly for your time!

Can I conduct a simple interview with you? Just one for my assignment as I am required to interview a blogger of my choice.

Looking forward to your response! =)
